PARIS, Oct thirteen — After selling his skills collection five years ago, the French entrepreneur and Yves Saint Laurent Couture co-founder will part with around 1, 000 unusual books and manuscripts dating of one’s 15th to 20th centuries.
At collaboration with Sotheby’s, Pierre Bergé’s library collection will be auctioned when it comes to seven stages at French auction firm Drouot starting in December 2015. The main stage will include around one hundred runs covering a period of six 100’s of years, by authors ranging from Saint Augustine to André Breton.
Before going by the auction block, the collection will be exposed in fall 2015 in Los angeles, London, Geneva and Moscow.
